YELLOW GOLD · BLACK MARBLED BEZEL · SKELETON DIAL · AUTOMATIC CHRONOGRAPH
Gold Against Black
A yellow gold case and bracelet, and a black bezel marbled in grey: warm metal and dark grain side by side.
Everything you touch on this watch is yellow gold: the case, the fluted crown, the two pushers and the three-row bracelet, polished down the flanks and brushed across the links.
The bezel is the contrast. It is black, run through with fine grey swirls and ripples, the look of forged carbon, and no stretch of it repeats another. The tachymetre scale sits on top in plain white, from TACHYMETRE at twelve round to sixty.
Gold and black, with nothing in between to soften it.

THE DIAL
A Dial You Can See Through
No dial plate: a dark gunmetal movement with gold wheels, and three coloured counters floating over it.
The dial is skeletonised. Where a plate would be, you see the movement itself: dark gunmetal bridges, gold toothed wheels, a silver hairspring coiling under twelve and small red jewels.
A black chapter ring holds it, with round luminous markers in gold frames and a red triangle at twelve. Over the works sit three counters, each in its own colour: white and yellow at nine, blue at three, red at six, every one with a hand to match.
The hour and minute hands are gold with white luminous strips, and the chronograph runs from the gold pushers either side of the crown.

Why The Gold And Black Works
Gold watches usually play it safe. This one puts a black marbled bezel on a yellow gold case, opens the dial right down to the movement and lets three coloured counters ride over the works. It asks $1,199.
THE GOLD SKELETON SPEC
Yellow gold chronograph case and three-row bracelet, black marbled bezel with a white tachymetre scale, skeleton dial with white-and-yellow, blue and red counters, self-winding automatic chronograph movement. Inspected by hand, boxed for presentation, and covered for two years.
