40MM WHITE GOLD · BAGUETTE BEZEL · CHRONOGRAPH
Nothing Is Written Across This Dial
Red stone, speckled and veined, with no model name printed over it.
Look at almost any chronograph of this shape and a model name sits across the lower half of the dial. This one has none. The maker's lines are at the top and then the dial is left alone.
What is left alone is a cut slice of deep red stone — dense, speckled, shot through with paler pink and grey veining that runs wherever the block ran. It changes with the angle and it changes from watch to watch, because the stone decides and not a paint booth.
Leaving the printing off is a small decision that changes the whole face of the watch. There is nothing to read, so there is nothing interrupting the material.

THE SETTING
Baguettes Flash Wider Than Brilliants Do
Long rectangular stones on the bezel, and a case paved end to end.
The bezel is set with long rectangular baguettes rather than the round stones most settings use. Cut flat and set flat, they throw a broad, calm flash instead of the sharp sparkle of brilliants — a different effect entirely, and a harder one to set evenly.
The case is the opposite approach on purpose: lugs, crown guards and both flanks are paved with round brilliants, so from the side the watch does sparkle. The two settings are doing different jobs on the same watch.
Everything else is left quiet. White gold hands over red stone, three silver counters sunk into it, a screw-down crown between two pushers, and a display back showing the movement.
How This One Is Put Together
Two settings, one stone dial, and no printing over it.
The Case
A 40mm white gold chronograph case, finished completely before any stone goes near it.
The Bezel
Long rectangular baguettes are channel-set flat the whole way round, which is the harder of the two settings to keep even.
The Paving
Round brilliants are set over the lugs, the crown guards and both flanks, so the case sparkles where the bezel does not.
The Stone Dial
A slice of deep red stone is cut, matched and set. Its speckle and veining are whatever the block gave.
The Strap
Burgundy alligator is stitched in red and fitted to a white gold folding clasp.

Why It Reads So Cleanly
A baguette bezel set flat and even, over a stone dial, is slow work and it is priced for it. This one asks $999.
THE WHITE GOLD AND RED SPEC
40mm white gold case paved with brilliants, baguette diamond bezel the whole way round, red stone dial with three silver counters, burgundy alligator strap and a white gold folding clasp. Hand-inspected, boxed for presentation, backed for two years.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is there no model name on the dial?
Why is there no model name on the dial?
Because this version does not carry one. The maker's lines sit at the top and the rest of the stone is left uninterrupted — it is a deliberate difference from the green watch in the same drop.
Will my dial look exactly like the photograph?
Will my dial look exactly like the photograph?
Close, but not identical. The dial is stone, so its speckle and veining are whatever the block gave. No two are the same.
What is the difference between baguettes and brilliants?
What is the difference between baguettes and brilliants?
Baguettes are long and rectangular and set flat, so they throw a broad calm flash. Brilliants are round and sparkle sharply. This watch uses baguettes on the bezel and brilliants on the case.
Is the case white gold or steel?
Is the case white gold or steel?
White gold — case, crown, pushers and clasp. The paving is set into the gold itself.
Can I see the movement?
Can I see the movement?
Yes. The caseback is a display back, so the chronograph movement is visible turning.
Can I swim in it?
Can I swim in it?
No. It is rated for splashes and rain, not for swimming or showering, and a stone dial is not something to test.
Does it need a battery?
Does it need a battery?
No. It is automatic — it winds from the motion of your wrist. Left off for a couple of days it stops, and a minute back on the wrist restarts it.
