40.8MM WHITE FORGED CARBON · BLACK CARBON BEZEL · BLACK RUBBER · AUTOMATIC
A White Case Between Two Blacks
A marbled black bezel above, a black rubber strap below, and white carbon in between.
Most white watches stay white from end to end. This one is framed: the bezel on top is black forged carbon, the strap at both ends is black rubber, and the white carbon case sits between them, so the white reads as a band of light rather than the whole watch.
The white is the material itself. The case is CNC-formed in one piece from white forged carbon, and you can see it on the flanks: thin grey-black lines run along the curve of the case, the edges of the layers it was cut from. A coat of paint would have covered them.
The black strap also keeps the look practical. It is rubber, moulded with a raised grid down the middle and smooth along the edges, and it closes on a black folding clasp.

THE BEZEL AND THE DIAL
Blue Kept To A Few Places
A white globe-grid dial with black numerals, and blue picked out where it counts.
The bezel is black forged carbon, rounded at the corners and marbled with grey swirls like the rings on a contour map. The pattern formed as the carbon cured, so the one on your watch exists once.
Inside it is a matte white dial embossed with a globe grid: horizontal bands crossed by lines that bow outward like meridians. The hours are raised matte black numerals, and there is no 3 — the date window takes its place, framed in black, showing a black date on a white disc.
Blue is kept to a handful of places: a hollow blue square at each hour on the outer track, the lettering, and a slim blue seconds hand with a blue centre disc. The hour and minute hands are steel-framed and filled with white luminous paint, and the markers glow too.
How The White Carbon Case Comes Together
White carbon cut from solid, a black carbon bezel on top, and a black strap to close it.
White Built In Layers
The case starts as white carbon material built up layer on layer, with a fine dark line wherever one layer meets the next.
Cut From One Piece
The case is CNC-formed from the cured block. Cutting across the layers brings their edges up as thin lines that trace the curve of the flanks and lugs.
The Black Bezel
The bezel is black forged carbon, its fibres cured into grey swirls. It sits on top of the white case as the first of the two blacks.
Dial And Hands
The white globe-grid dial goes in with its black numerals, hollow blue squares and blue lettering, then the luminous hands and the blue seconds hand.
The Black Strap
The black grid rubber strap goes on with its black folding clasp, and the self-winding automatic movement sits behind a see-through sapphire caseback.

Why The Black Strap Works
A white case on a white strap is a statement; on a black strap it becomes something you can wear with anything. The black bezel and the black rubber hold the white between them, and the blue on the dial does the rest. It comes checked and boxed, for $999.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the white case painted?
Is the white case painted?
No. It is white forged carbon, CNC-formed in one piece, so the colour belongs to the material. Look along the side of the case and you will see thin grey-black lines following its curve — the edges of the layers. Paint would hide them.
Why a black strap on a white case?
Why a black strap on a white case?
It matches the black carbon bezel, so the white case sits between two blacks. It also keeps the watch easy to wear every day: black rubber shows nothing and goes with everything.
What is the strap made of?
What is the strap made of?
Fluororubber, moulded with a raised grid of rectangles down the middle and smooth along the edges, closing on a black folding clasp. It is not a velcro strap.
Where is the 3 on the dial?
Where is the 3 on the dial?
There isn't one. The date window sits at three o'clock, framed in black, with a narrow hollow blue marker just outside it. Every other hour has its own raised black numeral.
What movement does it have?
What movement does it have?
A high-precision automatic movement: it winds itself as you wear it, needs no battery, and holds around 60 hours of power. You can watch it work through the see-through sapphire caseback.
Does it come in other versions?
Does it come in other versions?
Yes. The same white carbon case and blue-accent dial comes on a white rubber strap, and there are black carbon versions with black and cream dials on black, orange and brown straps.
Does it need a battery?
Does it need a battery?
No. It is automatic — it winds from the motion of your wrist. Left off for a couple of days it stops, and a minute back on the wrist restarts it.
