ROULETTE DIAL · TEAL BEZEL · WHITE CARBON · AUTOMATIC CHRONOGRAPH
A Roulette Wheel On The Dial
37 numbered pockets, red and black in turn, with a single green zero at twelve.
The ring round this dial is a roulette wheel, pocket for pocket. Thirty-seven small tiles run all the way round, red and black in turn, each carrying its number in white, and at twelve sits the single green zero.
The numbers follow the order of a real wheel and stand out from the centre as they do on one, so the ones at the bottom read upside down from the front, exactly as they would at the table.
Inside the wheel the centre is a cool slate grey with a fine brushed grain, which lets the red, black and green read bright and clean.

THE COUNTERS
Three Casino Chips
A spade chip, a diamond chip and a four-suit wheel turned by a steel cross.
The three counters are made as chips from the table. At nine, a black-and-white chip with a black spade at its centre; at three, a red-and-white chip with a red diamond. Both have slim red hands.
At six, a silver-grey ring frames a wheel in red and black carrying a club, a diamond, a spade and a heart, and its hand is a polished steel cross with a ball at each end, like the turret at the centre of a roulette wheel.
The hour and minute hands are polished steel with luminous strips, and the thin red chronograph hand comes to rest on the green zero.

Why The Roulette Works
Most watches borrow their colours from the sea or the track. This one takes them from the table: the red, black and green of the wheel, the chips at three, six and nine, and a teal bezel and a red strap to carry them. It asks $949.
THE ROULETTE SPEC
White carbon case, matte teal bezel, roulette-wheel dial with three casino-chip counters, steel and red hands, red canvas strap. Inspected by hand, boxed for presentation, and covered for two years.
