STEEL · SKY-BLUE STONE BEZEL · SKELETON DIAL · AUTOMATIC CHRONOGRAPH
A Ring Of Sky-Blue Stones
Square step-cut stones set edge to edge round the bezel, on a plain steel case.
The first thing anyone sees is the bezel. It is set all the way round with square step-cut stones in sky blue, each faceted like a small stepped pyramid, so it sends light back whichever way the wrist turns.
Most of the stones read a clear light blue; where the light passes straight through, a few go paler, almost clear. It keeps the ring alive rather than flat.
Everything round it is steel: brushed on the lug tops, polished to a mirror on the flanks, with a three-row bracelet of brushed links.

THE DIAL
A Dial That Shows The Movement
Sky-blue bridges, green-tinted wheels and three open counters in steel rings.
There is no solid dial here. Look in and you see the movement itself, its bridges and plates finished in bright sky blue, a few wheels tinted green, and deeper blue in the spaces between.
Three open counters float over it, each in a thin polished steel ring with white strokes and numerals. Applied steel baton markers stand at the hours, a fine white minute track runs round the edge, and the polished steel hands carry white luminous strips.
The crown is fluted and screws down, with a thin blue ring at its base, between two screw-down pushers that start, stop and reset the chronograph.

Why The Blue Works
Most stone-set watches stop at the bezel. This one carries the colour all the way in: sky-blue stones on top, a sky-blue movement underneath, and plain steel holding it together. It asks $1,199.
THE SKY-BLUE SKELETON SPEC
Steel case and three-row bracelet, a bezel of square step-cut sky-blue stones, a skeleton dial in sky blue with three open counters, and a self-winding automatic chronograph movement. Inspected by hand, boxed for presentation, and covered for two years.
