RED DIAL · CLEAR STONE BEZEL · STEEL CASE · QUARTZ CHRONOGRAPH
Cherry Red, Ringed In Clear Stones
A glossy red dial inside one ring of 36 clear baguette-cut stones, on a mirror-polished steel case.
The dial is a glossy cherry red, one even colour with a soft sheen, edged by a fine black track. It is the loudest thing on the watch, and everything else is chosen to frame it.
The frame is the bezel: one ring of clear baguette-cut stones, long rectangular stones set side by side and pointing to the centre, nine to each quarter, 36 in all, held between a polished steel outer rim and a polished steel inner rim. Each stone throws its own flash of light.
The case is 43 mm of mirror-polished 316L stainless steel with plain lugs and rounded crown guards. The fluted screw-down crown and the two fluted pushers are polished steel to match.

THE DIAL
A Red Dial With Silver Counters
Steel batons with white lume, three turned silver counters printed in black, and steel hands.
The dial is a smooth, glossy cherry red. A fine black track runs round its edge, short strokes with a longer one at regular intervals, and five lines of small black print sit under twelve.
The hour markers are applied polished-steel batons filled with white lume, long at most hours and short at three, six and nine. There is no date window, so the dial stays clean and symmetrical.
The three counters are silver rings turned with fine concentric circles round centres in the dial's own red, each printed in black with a slim steel pointer. The hour and minute hands are polished steel batons with white lume, and the long central chronograph hand is polished steel.

Why The Red Works
Most stone-set chronographs keep the dial quiet and let the bezel talk. This one does the opposite: a glossy cherry red fills the dial, silver counters sit on it, and the ring of clear stones frames it all, on a strap in the same red. It asks $499.
THE RED SPEC
Glossy cherry-red dial, bezel of 36 clear baguette-cut stones, polished 43 mm steel case, steel markers and hands with white lume, silver counters, red canvas strap. Inspected by hand, boxed for presentation, and covered for two years.
