STEEL · PLUM DIAL · ICE-BLUE COUNTERS · AUTOMATIC CHRONOGRAPH
Plum, Met By Ice Blue
A plum sunburst dial, three pale ice-blue counters and a plum bezel, set in polished and brushed steel.
Purple is a rare colour on a chronograph, and this one commits to it. The dial is a plum sunburst, a soft wine colour at the centre that deepens to dark aubergine at the edge, so it changes as the light moves across it.
Three pale ice-blue counters cool it down. Each is turned with fine concentric circles and printed in black, and the same light blue returns in the luminous dot at every hour and in the tip of the chronograph hand.
The bezel is a glossy, domed plum insert with a white tachymeter scale, so the purple runs from the edge of the case to the centre of the dial.

THE CASE
Steel, With A Vintage Line
Smooth flanks with no crown guards, a screw-down crown and pushers, and a brushed steel bracelet.
The case is steel, polished on its sides and brushed on top of the lugs. There are no crown guards: the screw-down crown and the two screw-down pushers stand free on a smooth flank, the way the early racing chronographs were made.
The hour and minute hands are steel with white luminous inserts, the hour markers applied steel batons with polished ends, and an applied steel crown emblem sits at twelve.
It rides on a brushed steel three-row bracelet with a folding clasp, and a sapphire display back shows the automatic chronograph movement at work.
