WHITE THIN-PLY CARBON · ABOUT 38 GRAMS · SKELETON TOURBILLON
About 38 Grams, Strap Included
A one-piece carbon case about 8.5 mm thick, on a woven strap that weighs next to nothing.
Pick it up and your hand waits for weight that does not come. The whole watch is about 38 grams — case, crown, movement and strap together.
The saving is in the case. Instead of steel, it is one piece of thin-ply carbon: very fine layers of carbon fibre, pressed and cured into a solid block, then cut to shape. It comes out about 8.5 mm thick and curved to follow the wrist, so it sits down flat rather than perching on top of the arm.
The strap keeps it that way. It is woven fabric, light and flexible, with no metal bracelet dragging the case to one side of the wrist.

THE DIAL
An Open Dial, And A Cage At Six
There is no solid dial plate. Nearly everything you see is the movement itself.
Round the edge runs a black track of short white minute bars, with white triangles at the hours pointing in toward the centre. Inside it, the dial is open.
At the upper left sits the largest wheel: rose gold, its curved spokes branching out like a web over a silver disc of fine rings. Black bridges cut across the middle, each with a thin white line along it, fixed with small silver screws shaped like stars. Four bright pink jewels sit on the left between seven and ten, and one more near two.
At six is the cage. The style is known as a flying tourbillon, and it is the showpiece: a large round cage inside a ring of fine silver teeth, crossed by an open rose-gold triangle with a pale-gold screw at each corner and a pink jewel at its heart. The hour and minute hands are open frames tipped with white lume, so they never hide what is underneath.
How A White Carbon Case Comes Together
White carbon cannot be painted on at the end. It has to be white from the first layer.
Layer On Layer
Very thin sheets, white all the way through, are stacked one on another. The fine grey-black lines on the finished case are their edges.
Pressed And Cured
The stack is pressed and cured under heat until the layers set into one solid block.
Cut To A Curve
The case is machined from the block in one piece: the barrel outline, the curve underneath, and the two teardrop-shaped recesses above twelve and below six.
The Open Dial
The skeleton movement goes in behind a thin polished frame, with the rose-gold wheel at the upper left and the tourbillon-style cage at six. Eight screws close the bezel.
Orange Last
The ribbed orange crown and the woven orange strap go on at the end, and every watch is checked by hand before it is boxed.

Why It Wears So Light
Watches with this much movement on show are usually built heavy, in steel or gold. This one puts an open dial and a tourbillon-style cage in a case you barely feel, white all through, with orange where it counts, for $899.
THE WHITE AND ORANGE SPEC

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the white case painted?
Is the white case painted?
No. It is white thin-ply carbon, cut from one piece, so the colour belongs to the material. Look along the side and you will see thin grey-black lines following the curve of the case — the edges of the layers. Paint would hide them.
How heavy is it?
How heavy is it?
About 38 grams with the strap on, and about 8.5 mm thick. The case is curved underneath, so it sits low and flat on the wrist.
What is the cage at six o'clock?
What is the cage at six o'clock?
It is the tourbillon-style cage the watch is named for — the style is known as a flying tourbillon. What you see is a large round cage inside a ring of fine silver teeth, crossed by a rose-gold triangular bridge with a pink jewel at its centre. If you have a question about the movement before you order, message us and a person will answer.
Does it need a battery?
Does it need a battery?
No. It is automatic and winds from the motion of your wrist. Left off for a couple of days it stops, and a minute back on the wrist restarts it.
Where is the orange?
Where is the orange?
On the crown and the strap, and nowhere else. The case, screws, dial track and hands carry no orange at all, so the two orange parts stand out cleanly against the white.
How do I keep the white clean?
How do I keep the white clean?
Wipe the case with a soft, damp cloth and dry it. There is no coating on the carbon to protect, so ordinary care is all it needs.
How long does delivery take?
How long does delivery take?
Ten to eighteen days to most countries, fifteen to twenty-five inside Iraq. Shipping is free, tracked and insured, and you get the tracking number as soon as it leaves us.
Can I ask questions before I order?
