BLACK CARBON · SKELETON · TOURBILLON · RED STRAP
Black Carbon, Cut With Red
A black carbon tonneau with grey grain, an open movement, and red only where your hand goes: the crown and the strap.
The case is one piece of black thin-ply carbon, cut into a tonneau that curves along its length to sit close on the wrist. Where it was shaped, the layers of the carbon come to the surface as wavy grey streaks, like the grain in dark wood, and the pattern on this case exists once.
Sculpted shoulders rise at twelve and six, each cut with two teardrop recesses, and eight dark screws with star-shaped heads hold the bezel.
The whole watch weighs about 38 grams, strap included, and the case is about 8.5 mm thick.

THE DIAL
Open To The Tourbillon
No dial plate: a rose-gold wheel, pink jewels, white luminous rails and the tourbillon cage at six.
There is no dial to hide behind. A black flange with white triangle markers and fine white minute bars frames the movement itself: black bridges, grey wheels and bright pink jewels, with a large rose-gold wheel of curved spokes at the upper left.
At six sits the tourbillon cage, crossed by an open rose-gold triangle with a pink jewel at its centre. Two long white luminous rails sweep across the movement, and the open-worked hands carry white luminous tips.
The crown is red and ribbed, capped in black, and the strap is red woven fabric that closes with a black hook-and-loop fastening.

Why The Red Works
Most skeleton watches put the movement in a heavy metal frame. This one sets it in black carbon so light you barely feel it, opens it all the way down to the tourbillon at six, and adds red only at the crown and the strap. It asks $799.
