ALL-WHITE THIN-PLY CARBON · ABOUT 38 GRAMS · SKELETON TOURBILLON
White All The Way Through, Not Painted On
The thin grey lines across the case are the proof: they are the edges of its layers.
A white watch usually starts as something else — steel or plastic, sprayed or coated — and sooner or later the coat wears through at the corners.
This case starts white. It is thin-ply carbon: very fine layers, pressed and cured into a solid block and then cut to shape, with the white in every layer. Across the bezel and down the flanks you can see thin, wavy grey-black lines following the curves of the case. Those are the edges of the layers, left showing where the cutter went through them. Paint would hide them.
Because the colour is not a coating, there is nothing on the surface to chip. And because the material is carbon rather than steel, the whole watch comes to about 38 grams.

THE DIAL
One Dark Window In A White Case
Everything outside the crystal is white. Everything warm is inside it.
Against that much white, the open dial reads as a dark window, and the colour inside it does all the talking.
At the upper left, a large rose-gold wheel spreads its curved spokes like a web over a silver disc of fine rings. Black bridges run through the middle, each with a thin white line along it and small silver star-shaped screws. Four bright pink jewels sit on the left between seven and ten, and one more near two. Round the edge, a black track carries short white minute bars and white triangles at the hours.
At six is the cage the watch takes its name from, built in the style known as a flying tourbillon: large and round, inside a ring of fine silver teeth, crossed by an open rose-gold triangle with a pale-gold screw at each corner and a sixth pink jewel at the centre.
How An All-White Carbon Watch Comes Together
The white has to be there from the first layer. It cannot be added at the end.
White In Every Layer
The case begins as very thin sheets, white all the way through, stacked one on another. The grey-black lines on the finished case are their edges.
Pressed Into One Block
The stack is pressed and cured under heat until the layers become one solid piece of carbon.
One Piece, Cut To Shape
The barrel-shaped case is machined from that block in one piece, with the curve underneath and the two teardrop-shaped recesses above twelve and below six.
The Open Dial Goes In
Behind a thin polished frame goes the skeleton movement: the rose-gold wheel at the upper left, the pink jewels, and the tourbillon-style cage at six.

What All-White Gets You
A case can only be white all the way through if it starts as white material and is cut from solid. That is the long way to build a white watch. This one comes checked by hand and boxed, for $899.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there any colour on it at all?
Is there any colour on it at all?
Only under the crystal. The large wheel at the upper left and the bridge across the cage at six are rose gold, and the six jewels are a bright pink. Outside the crystal it is white, apart from the black cap on the crown and the dark screw heads.
Is the white case painted?
Is the white case painted?
No. It is white thin-ply carbon, cut from one piece, so the colour belongs to the material. The thin grey-black lines across the bezel and down the flanks are the edges of the layers — paint would hide them.
How do I keep the strap white?
How do I keep the strap white?
Brush off any dust, then wipe the woven strap with a soft, damp cloth and let it dry. Keep it away from ink and fresh denim, as you would a white shirt.
What is the cage at six o'clock?
What is the cage at six o'clock?
It is the tourbillon-style cage the watch is named for; the style is known as a flying tourbillon. You see a large round cage inside a ring of fine silver teeth, crossed by an open rose-gold triangle with a pink jewel at its centre. If you want to know more about the movement before you order, message us and a person will answer.
Does it need a battery?
Does it need a battery?
No. It is automatic — it winds from the motion of your wrist. Left off for a couple of days it stops, and a minute back on the wrist restarts it.
How big is it on the wrist?
How big is it on the wrist?
The case is about 37.25 × 47.25 mm and about 8.5 mm thick. It is curved underneath to follow the wrist, and at about 38 grams it wears lighter than its size suggests.
How long does delivery take?
