Forged carbon chronograph with a green and gold dial on a dark walnut desk beside a fountain pen

40MM FORGED CARBON · TACHYMETER BEZEL · CHRONOGRAPH

A Racing Stripe Straight Down The Dial

Nobody puts a livery on a chronograph. That is exactly why this one works.

The gold band runs the full height of the dial, twelve to six, passing between the two upper counters. It is the same idea as the stripe painted down the bonnet of a race car — a line that tells you the thing was built to go fast.

Chronograph dials do not normally get one. They get counters, a tachymeter and a colour, and that is the whole design language. Breaking it is why this watch reads as a statement rather than a spec sheet.

Against deep green the gold looks warm instead of gaudy, and because the crown and both pushers are gold as well, the colour carries around the case instead of stopping at the crystal.

FORGED CARBON CASE

Every Case Comes Out Different

The marbling is the material, frozen where the fibre landed.

Chopped carbon fibre is packed loose into a mould and pressed under heat until it fuses. Nobody arranges it, so when the case is machined out of the block the cut exposes a swirl that was decided by chance.

The tachymeter bezel is cut from the same material, which is why the grain runs continuously around the front of the watch rather than stopping at a join.

Carbon is also why it weighs so little for its size. A 40mm chronograph on a fabric strap ends up lighter than most dress watches, and it stays where you put it all day.

How This One Is Put Together

Carbon, green and gold, in that order.

STAGE 01

The Block

Chopped carbon fibre is pressed under heat into a solid block. The marbling inside is set before a single cut is made.

STAGE 02

Case And Bezel

Both are machined out of that block so the grain runs continuously from the bezel into the case.

STAGE 03

The Tachymeter

White numerals and green lettering are laid onto the black bezel — the scale that turns elapsed seconds into speed over a known distance.

STAGE 04

Stripe And Counters

The gold band is laid down the centre of the green dial, then the two silver counters and the green counter are set either side and below it.

STAGE 05

Gold Fittings

The crown and both pushers go on last, and the chronograph is run through start, stop and reset before the watch is boxed.

2-Year Warranty. 30-Day Refund.

Wear it for a month. If it is not what you expected, send it back for a full refund — no conditions, no restocking fee.

Why It Reads As A Racing Watch

Carbon conversions of this chronograph are commissioned one at a time and priced past a new car. This keeps the forged carbon, the tachymeter bezel, the green dial and the gold stripe, and asks $999.

Frequently Asked Questions

check_box

What is a tachymeter for?

It converts elapsed time into speed. Start the chronograph as you pass a marker, stop it a measured distance later, and the number the hand points to on the bezel is your average speed over that distance.

check_box

Is the gold stripe painted on the crystal?

No, it is part of the dial itself, running underneath the hands and between the counters — which is why it stays put as you tilt the watch.

check_box

Is the carbon pattern printed?

No. Chopped carbon fibre is pressed into a solid block and the case is cut from it, so the swirl is a cross-section of the material. Every case comes out different.

check_box

Does the chronograph actually run?

Yes. The two pushers start, stop and reset the counters — it is a working chronograph, not decorative sub-dials.

check_box

Can I change the strap?

Yes. It comes on black textured fabric, and the lugs take a standard strap change if you want leather or rubber later.

check_box

Can I swim with it?

No. It is rated to 30m, which covers rain and hand-washing. Keep it out of pools and the sea.

check_box

Does it need a battery?

No. It is automatic — it winds from the motion of your wrist. Left off for a couple of days it stops, and a minute back on the wrist restarts it.

check_box

How long does delivery take?

Ten to eighteen days to most countries, fifteen to twenty-five inside Iraq. Shipping is free, tracked and insured, and you get the tracking number as soon as it leaves us.

check_box

Can I ask questions before I order?

Yes, and we would rather you did. Message the page on Facebook or Instagram — a real person answers, usually within the hour.
