A bright red rubber strap that carries on the red of thirty-six baguette-cut stones, round a gold-tone case.
Most watches with a coloured bezel go on black or steel and let the stones stand alone. This one matches them. The strap is red rubber, smooth and matte, with a raised flat band running down its middle between two lower sides, and it is red all through, top and underside.
The bezel is a single ring of thirty-six deep red baguette-cut stones, each nearly square, set edge to edge between two polished gold-tone rims. In the light they glow orange-red at their centres and darken to a deep wine red at the edges.
Between them sits the gold-tone case: 316L stainless steel, 43 mm, with plain polished lugs, rounded crown guards and a fluted screw-down crown between two screw-down pushers. The strap fits flush into the case at both ends and closes on a gold-tone folding clasp.
THE DIAL
A Black Dial Set With Orange Stones

The dial is glossy black, edged with a fine white track of short ticks and a longer stroke at every fifth. A pale gold flange rings it, between the dial and the glass.
The hour markers are orange baguette-cut stones in gold-tone claw settings, long at one, two, four, five, seven, eight, ten and eleven, small and square at three, six and nine. They are a brighter orange than the deep red of the bezel, so the dial reads warm against the black.
The three counters are the same black as the dial, ringed with white strokes and white numerals, each with a slim gold-tone hand. The hour and minute hands are gold-tone with luminous strips, and the long central chronograph hand is gold-tone too.
