Almost everything on this watch is black: the forged-carbon case, the dial, the hands' frames, the crown and the strap. The colour comes in only where you read the time. Each hour is an orange luminous baton in a blackened frame, doubled at twelve, and a short orange stroke marks every minute round the edge.
The hands follow the same rule: blackened and sword-tipped, filled with orange luminous paint, with a slim orange seconds hand sweeping over them. Even the date at three is orange on black.
Under it all, the dial is embossed with a raised globe grid, so the black catches the light in fine lines rather than sitting flat.

The case and bezel are forged two-tone carbon, CNC-cut from one piece. On the wide bezel the grain shows as grey marbling swirling across the black, and no two pieces of forged carbon share the same pattern, so the bezel on yours exists once.
Along the flanks and lugs the carbon is matte black, with fine horizontal lines where the layers of the material show. A glossy black fluted crown sits at three.
