Forged-carbon chronograph with a white dial and Arabic numerals on a dark walnut desk beside a fountain pen

40MM · FORGED CARBON · ARABIC NUMERALS · AUTOMATIC CHRONOGRAPH

Arabic Numerals, Cut In Steel And Laid On

At twelve, three, six and nine — applied, not printed.

Printed numerals sit flat in the dial's surface and disappear at an angle. These are cut in polished steel and applied to the face, so they stand above it and catch the light from the side.

They mark twelve, three, six and nine. Between them are applied rectangular markers framed in steel, so the whole dial is raised work rather than ink.

On a flat white dial that matters more than usual: there is no texture to hide behind, and anything printed would look printed.

THE COUNTERS

A White Dial That Carries Colour In Three Places

Bright red at nine, bright green at three, black at six.

The dial itself stays white — no tint, no gradient, no colour across the face at all. Every bit of colour on this watch lives inside the three counters.

Bright red at nine, bright green at three, and black at six, each sunk inside a black ring. Because the field around them is plain white, they read from much further away than the same colours would on a busy dial.

The strap picks the green back up: green woven fibre, lined in black leather, stitched in white.

Making A Flat White Dial Worth Looking At

A white dial hides nothing, which is the whole difficulty.

STAGE 01

Dial Finished Flat

The face is finished flat white and cured. Flat means flat: a ripple that would vanish under a sunburst is obvious here.

STAGE 02

Apertures Cut

The three counter openings are cut and their black rings seated, then the counters are finished in red, green and black.

STAGE 03

Numerals Applied

The Arabic numerals are cut in polished steel and applied at twelve, three, six and nine, each set by hand and checked square.

STAGE 04

Markers Set

The applied rectangular markers go on between them, framed in steel.

STAGE 05

Movement And Test

The automatic chronograph movement goes in, and the watch is run and regulated before boxing.

2-Year Warranty. 30-Day Refund.

Wear it for a month. If it is not what you expected, send it back for a full refund — no conditions, no restocking fee.

Colour Where It Counts

A plain white field, and every colour on the watch held in three counters.

Automatic

A self-winding chronograph movement. Wear it and it runs; no battery, ever.

Why It Reads As Expensive

A white dial leaves nowhere to hide a badly drawn numeral, so these were shaped to be read at a glance rather than studied up close. Three counters, and nothing else competing for the room. Finished and boxed at $949.

Three Things To Look At

The details that decide whether a watch looks like its price.

The Numerals

Look at them from an angle. Applied steel throws a shadow; printed ink does not.

The Three Counters

Red, green and black on a plain white field — which is why they read from across a room.

Frequently Asked Questions

check_box

Are the numerals printed on?

No. They are cut in polished steel and applied to the dial, so they stand above the surface and catch the light from the side. Printed numerals flatten out at an angle.

check_box

Is the dial white or cream?

Flat white, with no tint and no gradient. All of the colour on this watch is inside the three counters.

check_box

Does it need a battery?

No. It is a high-precision automatic chronograph — the movement winds itself from the motion of your wrist.

check_box

Will two of these look the same?

No. Forged carbon is pressed from chopped fibre, so the swirl forms differently every time. The case and bezel grain on your watch exists once.

check_box

How big is it on the wrist?

40mm across and 12.4mm thick, which sits comfortably on most wrists and fits under a cuff.

check_box

What is the strap?

Green woven man-made fibre lined with black leather and stitched in white. It breathes, and the lining keeps it comfortable against the skin.

check_box

How long does delivery take?

Ten to eighteen days to most countries, fifteen to twenty-five inside Iraq. Shipping is free, tracked and insured, and you get the tracking number as soon as it leaves us.

Can I ask questions before I order?

Yes, and we would rather you did. Message the page on Facebook or Instagram — a real person answers, usually within the hour.
