WHITE FORGED CARBON · ORANGE BEZEL · SKY-BLUE DIAL · AUTOMATIC CHRONOGRAPH
A White Case That Shows Its Layers
Fine grey lines run along the flanks, straight and even, where the layers of the carbon meet.
Most white watches are white on the surface: paint or a coating over something else, and a hard knock on a corner shows what is underneath.
This case is white forged carbon, white through the material. It is built up in layers, and where the case is cut across them the edges surface as thin grey lines. Along the flanks they run fine and parallel, like the contour lines on a map; over the lugs, where the case curves, they bend and spread. The lines on your case will fall differently from the ones in the photographs.
The bezel is the loudest part of the case: matte orange, with the tachymeter scale printed in black. The crown and both pushers are black, the only dark metal on the watch.

THE DIAL
Sky Blue, Ringed In White, Framed In Orange
A flat blue dial with two white counters and one orange one.
The dial is a flat, bright sky blue with a fine grain, the same blue from the centre out to the white ring. That ring carries the minute track in fine black strokes, and it keeps the blue and the orange bezel from touching.
Two of the counters are white, at three and nine, cut with fine circular grooves and ringed in thick black. The counter at three marks its 20 and 10 in red. The third counter, at six, is orange, so the colour of the bezel comes back into the middle of the dial.
The hour markers are applied, filled with pale lume and pointed at their inner end, with small squares at three, six and nine. The hour and minute hands are dark gunmetal with white lume, and the slim black chronograph hand ends in a short red tip.
How The Sky Dial Comes Together
A blue dial, three counters and an orange bezel, fitted inside a white carbon case.
The Blue
The dial is a flat sky blue with a fine grain. It is the largest colour on the watch, so it has to be even from edge to edge.
The White Ring
A white ring goes round the edge of the dial, printed with the minute track in fine black strokes.
Three Counters
Two white counters at three and nine, cut with circular grooves, and an orange one at six. Each is ringed in thick black.
Markers And Hands
The lumed hour markers go on, then the dark gunmetal hands and the slim black chronograph hand with its red tip.
Into The White Case
The dial is fitted into the white carbon case under the orange bezel, with the automatic chronograph movement behind it.

Why It Stands Out In Colour
White carbon has to be white from the first layer, because nothing is sprayed over it afterwards. Put an orange bezel on it and a sky-blue dial inside, and you have a watch that is easy to spot across a room. It asks $999.
THE SKY ORANGE SPEC
White forged carbon case, orange bezel, sky-blue dial with two white counters and an orange one, light sky-blue canvas strap. Inspected by hand, boxed for presentation, and covered for two years.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the white case painted?

No. It is white forged carbon, white through the material. Look along the side and you will see thin grey lines following the case, the edges of its layers. Paint would cover them.
Why an orange bezel on a blue dial?
Why an orange bezel on a blue dial?
Orange and blue sit opposite each other on the colour wheel, so each makes the other look brighter. A white ring with the minute track runs between them, and the orange comes back once more in the counter at six.
What are the three counters?
