CREAM DIAL · EASTERN ARABIC NUMERALS · WHITE CARBON · AUTOMATIC CHRONOGRAPH
The Hours In Eastern Arabic Gold
Applied gold Eastern Arabic numerals on a cream dial that warms to sand at its edge.
The hours on this dial are written in Eastern Arabic figures, each one cut in polished gold and applied so it stands up from the dial: one, two, four, five, seven, eight, ten and eleven. At twelve sits a small gold crown emblem, and at three, six and nine small gold-framed squares with dark centres.
The dial behind them is cream, palest at the centre and warming gradually to sand toward the edge, with a fine grain that catches the light and a fine white chronograph track running all the way round.
Around it, a black forged-carbon bezel, marbled in grey, carries its tachymeter scale in gold, so the gold of the numerals runs right out to the edge of the watch.

THE CASE
White Carbon, Black Carbon
A white forged-carbon case lined in black, under a marbled black carbon bezel, with gold crown and pushers.
The case is white forged carbon. Thin black lines run along its flanks and down the sides of the lugs, like contour lines on a map: they are the layers of the material itself, so no two cases are the same.
The crown and the two pushers are gold-tone and fluted, the crown with an emblem engraved on its end, and the white carbon rises round them as the crown guards.
The three counters are a deep chocolate brown in black rings printed in white, and the hands are gold, the hour and minute hands with white luminous strips. The 4130 automatic chronograph movement winds itself as you wear it, holds at least 72 hours of power, and can be seen through the see-through caseback.

Why The Cream Works
Cream, gold and brown are warm colours, and here they sit between white carbon and black carbon, so the dial glows in the middle of a watch built in black and white. It asks $949.
