BLACK FORGED CARBON · RED BAGUETTE MARKERS · WHITE STRAP · AUTOMATIC CHRONOGRAPH
Black Carbon, Veined In White
One piece of forged carbon, its grain run through with white, and black where other watches put metal.
Most black watches are black on the surface: a coating over steel, and a hard knock on a corner shows what is underneath.
This case is forged carbon fibre, made in one piece and black all the way through. Chopped fibre is pressed with resin until it sets, and the fibres land at random. On this case the grain comes out sharp, black with white veins flowing across the lugs and flanks, and the pattern on yours will fall differently from the one in the photographs.
The bezel is the same carbon with its tachymeter scale in white, and the crown and both pushers are black, so the case reads as one dark piece from every side.

THE DIAL
Eleven Red Stones On Black
Baguette-cut red gemstones for hour markers, and three counters ringed in red.
The dial is deep black, and where the hour markers would be it carries red baguette-cut gemstones: long stones at most of the hours, short ones at three, six and nine, and none at twelve. They are step-cut, so they glint rather than glow, and they change as the wrist moves.
The three counters are black, each with a thin red ring inside and red strokes round the edge, white numerals and a slim steel hand. A single word in red sits just above the counter at six, and everything else on the dial is printed in white.
The hour and minute hands are polished steel with white lume inserts, and the central chronograph hand is a thin steel line with a white arrow tip.
How The Red Stone Dial Comes Together
A carbon case, a white scale and a black dial set with red stones, fitted under sapphire.
The Carbon
The case is forged carbon fibre in one piece, its white-veined grain set when the fibre and resin are pressed.
The Scale
The carbon bezel takes its tachymeter scale in white, with white triangles and strokes.
The Stones
Eleven red baguette-cut gemstones are set into the black dial as the hour markers, the short ones at three, six and nine.
Three Counters
Three black counters go on, each ringed in red with red strokes and white numerals.
Into The Case
The steel hands go on, and the dial is fitted under a sapphire crystal with the 4130 automatic chronograph movement behind it.

Why The Red Works
Keep everything black, case, bezel, crown and pushers, and the smallest colour on the dial becomes the whole watch. Here that colour is eleven red stones, and a white strap sets the black off around them. It asks $999.
THE RED BAGUETTE SPEC
One-piece black forged carbon case, a carbon bezel printed in white, a black dial set with eleven red baguette stones, black crown and pushers, sapphire crystal, white woven strap. Inspected by hand, boxed for presentation, and covered for two years.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are the hour markers stones?
Are the hour markers stones?
Yes. Each hour marker is a red baguette-cut gemstone, eleven of them, with short ones at three, six and nine. There is no stone at twelve.
Is the case painted black?
Is the case painted black?
No. It is forged carbon fibre, made in one piece and black all the way through. The white veins you see on the lugs and flanks are the fibre itself, so they cannot wear off, and no two cases carry the same grain.
Why are the crown and pushers black?
Why are the crown and pushers black?
So nothing on the case breaks the carbon. With black crown and pushers the whole case reads as one dark piece, and the only colour left is the red on the dial.
What do the three counters do?
What do the three counters do?
They are the chronograph's counters. The pushers either side of the crown start, stop and reset the central chronograph hand, and the counters keep the running time.
What is the strap made of?
What is the strap made of?
High-density woven fabric in white, closely woven rather than the coarse perforated fabric you often see, with white stitching and a genuine leather lining. It closes on an integrated carbon-fibre buckle.
Does it come in other versions?
Does it come in other versions?
Yes. The same carbon case comes with a black dial set with champagne baguette stones and gold fittings, and with other dials as well.
Does it need a battery?
Does it need a battery?
No. It is automatic — it winds from the motion of your wrist. Left off for a couple of days it stops, and a minute back on the wrist restarts it.
How long does delivery take?
