A Dial Laid Out For Its Numerals
Urdu at three, six and nine, with a pair of strokes at twelve.
Most watches with non-Latin numerals are ordinary watches with the numerals swapped in afterwards, and it shows: the figures sit awkwardly, too small or too close to the markers.
This face was set out around them. The Urdu numerals at three, six and nine have the room they need, and at twelve there is a pair of strokes rather than a crowded figure.
The result is a dial that reads as though it was always meant to be in this script, because the spacing was decided for it and not inherited from something else.

GREEN AND WHITE
A Star And Crescent Where A Name Usually Goes
White, at twelve o'clock, above a deep green centre.
The dial is two-tone: deep green in the middle, white around the outside. The white ring is finely embossed with a geometric relief that only appears when the light crosses it, so the face changes as you move.
At twelve there is a white five-pointed star and a white crescent moon — placed where most watches print a brand.
The three counters are green and sun-brushed, each sunk inside its own white ring, so the green centre and the white outer band are tied together rather than simply stacked.
Building A Two-Tone Dial
Two finishes on one face, with a hard edge between them.
Case Pressed
Case, bezel insert and caseback come out of the press as forged carbon, the grey-and-black figure already fixed.
Green Centre Finished
The centre of the dial is finished deep green and cured, with the boundary to the outer ring kept clean.
White Ring Embossed
The outer band is finished white and its fine geometric pattern pressed into it, shallow enough to need the light to show.
Numerals And Emblem Set
The Urdu numerals go on at three, six and nine, the strokes at twelve, and the star and crescent are placed above them.
Movement And Test
The automatic chronograph movement goes in, and the watch is run and regulated before boxing.

Why It Reads As Expensive
A two-tone dial has to hold a hard edge between two finishes all the way round the face, and any wobble in that line is visible at arm's length. Finished and boxed at $949.
