40MM · FORGED CARBON · CARBON DIAL · GOLD FITTINGS · AUTOMATIC
The Dial Is Not Painted To Look Like Carbon. It Is Carbon.
Case, bezel and dial cut from the same marbled block.
A carbon-look dial is usually a printed sheet: a photograph of a weave, flat under the crystal, identical on every watch that leaves the line. It gives itself away as soon as the light moves, because a printed grain does not change and a real one does.
This dial is cut from the same forged carbon as the case, so the grain runs off the bezel and straight across the face. Tilt it and the marbling shifts, because you are looking into a material rather than at a picture of one.
It also means the dial is unrepeatable. The press decides the pattern, and it decides differently every time.

THE FITTINGS
Everything Fitted Is Gold. One Thing Is Turquoise.
Gold hands, gold markers, gold crown and pushers — against turquoise bezel numerals.
The hour markers are framed in gold over pale lume, the hands are gold, the counterweight on the seconds hand is a gold crown, and both pushers and the winding crown are gold. On a grey-and-black case that much gold could easily go heavy.
What stops it is the bezel. Its tachymeter numerals are printed in turquoise — the only cool colour anywhere on the watch, and the reason the gold reads warm instead of loud.
Three black counters with concentric brushing break the grain up so the dial still tells the time at a glance.
Making A Dial Out Of The Case Material
A carbon dial is a harder thing to make than a carbon case, and this is why.
Fibre Chopped
Carbon fibre is cut short and laid into the mould in random orientation. Random is the point: it is what makes the swirl instead of a weave.
Pressed Solid
Heat and pressure cure the block. The marbling forms inside the material and cannot be adjusted afterwards.
Dial Cut Thin
A dial blank is cut from the same block. It has to come out flat and thin without the grain tearing, which is where most attempts are lost.
Gold Fitted
Markers, hands, crown and pushers go on in gold, and the bezel numerals are filled in turquoise.
Movement And Test
The automatic chronograph movement goes in, and the watch is run and regulated before boxing.
2-Year Warranty. 30-Day Refund.
Wear it for a month. If it is not what you expected, send it back for a full refund — no conditions, no restocking fee.
Why It Reads As Expensive
Most dials are a surface with a colour laid on top. This one is the material itself, cut and polished until the grain comes up, which is why no two of them read the same under a light. The gold is the only thing added. Finished and boxed at $949.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the dial really carbon?
Is the dial really carbon?
Yes. It is cut from the same forged-carbon block as the case, so the grain runs across the face and shifts as the light moves. A printed carbon dial stays flat and looks the same on every watch.
Is the gold solid?
Is the gold solid?
The fittings are gold-finished — the hands, the markers, the crown and the pushers. The value here is in the carbon dial and the automatic chronograph movement, and the price reflects that honestly.
Why are the bezel numbers turquoise?
Why are the bezel numbers turquoise?
Because everything else is gold. One cool colour against all that warmth is what stops the watch looking heavy, and it is the detail people ask about first.
Does it need a battery?
Does it need a battery?
No. It is a high-precision automatic chronograph — the movement winds itself from the motion of your wrist.
Will two of these look the same?
Will two of these look the same?
No. The press decides the swirl, and it decides differently every time. Your dial exists once.
What is the strap?
What is the strap?
Dark green leather with a smooth grain. It darkens a little with wear, which most people prefer.
