All-black forged carbon dive watch on a dark walnut desk beside a fountain pen

41MM FORGED CARBON · DIVE BEZEL · AUTOMATIC

No Two Of These Look The Same

The pattern in the case is the material itself, set where it fell.

Forged carbon is made by packing chopped carbon fibre into a mould and pressing it under heat until it sets solid. The fibres land where they land, and once the block has cured the arrangement is permanent.

Cut a case out of that block and you expose a cross-section of the mess — a marbled swirl of grey through black that no machine planned and no second case will repeat. Yours has a pattern that exists once.

It is not a printed carbon-fibre wrap and it is not a black coating over steel. It is the structural material of the watch, and it is the reason this one weighs so little.

THE DIVER, IN BLACK

The Most Copied Watch On Earth

Rotating bezel, triangle at twelve, lume you can read in the dark.

The layout has not needed changing since the 1950s. A rotating bezel you set to your start time, big round markers that stay legible at a glance, and a hand set filled with lume so the watch still works when the light does not.

Every one of those pieces is here, unchanged. What is different is what they are made of — bezel, case, dial and bracelet all carrying the same carbon grain, so the watch reads as one solid object.

The date sits at three under a magnifying lens, which is the detail people check first when they pick up a diver.

From Loose Fibre To Finished Case

Five stages, and the pattern is decided in the first one.

STAGE 01

Chopped Fibre

Carbon fibre is cut short and loaded into the mould loose. Nobody arranges it — the randomness is the point.

STAGE 02

Pressed And Cured

Heat and pressure fuse the fibre into a solid block. From this moment the marbling inside is fixed and cannot be altered.

STAGE 03

Cut To Shape

The case is machined out of the block, and the cut is what reveals the swirl. Two cases from the same block still come out different.

STAGE 04

Bezel And Dial

The dive bezel and the dial are cut from the same material, so the grain carries across the whole face instead of stopping at the crystal.

STAGE 05

Assembled And Checked

Bezel click, lume fill, cyclops alignment and clasp action are checked by hand before the watch is boxed.

2-Year Warranty. 30-Day Refund.

Wear it for a month. If it is not what you expected, send it back for a full refund — no conditions, no restocking fee.

One-Off Pattern

The marbling is the material, not a print. No other watch carries yours.

Barely There

Carbon is a fraction of the weight of steel, so a full-size diver stops feeling like one.

What Carbon Changes

Carbon conversions of this diver are one-at-a-time commissions abroad, priced past most people's first car. This keeps the forged carbon, the dive bezel and the cyclops date, and asks $999.

Frequently Asked Questions

check_box

Is the carbon pattern printed on?

No. It is the material. Chopped carbon fibre is pressed into a solid block and the case is cut out of it, so the swirl you see is a cross-section of the fibre inside. That is why no two pieces match.

check_box

How light is it, really?

Light enough that people who pick it up expecting steel usually comment. Carbon weighs a fraction of what steel does, so a 41mm diver with a full bracelet lands closer to a dress watch.

check_box

Does the bezel rotate?

Yes, in one direction only, with a positive click. That is deliberate on a dive bezel — it can only ever shorten your elapsed time, never lengthen it.

check_box

Can I actually dive with it?

No. It is rated to 30m, which covers rain and hand-washing. It wears the look of a diver without the pressure rating, so keep it out of pools and the sea.

check_box

Can the bracelet be resized?

Yes — the links come out and any jeweller can size it in a few minutes. It closes on a folding clasp.

check_box

Will the black fade?

There is no coating to fade. The material is black through and through, so wear exposes more of the same carbon rather than metal underneath.

check_box

Does it need a battery?

No. It is automatic — it winds from the motion of your wrist. Left off for a couple of days it stops, and a minute back on the wrist restarts it.

check_box

How long does delivery take?

Ten to eighteen days to most countries, fifteen to twenty-five inside Iraq. Shipping is free, tracked and insured, and you get the tracking number as soon as it leaves us.

check_box

Can I ask questions before I order?

Yes, and we would rather you did. Message the page on Facebook or Instagram — a real person answers, usually within the hour.
