The tonneau is the oldest of the shaped cases: a barrel, widest across the middle, narrowing towards each end. This one is the classic 39.5 × 55 mm outline, and it is curved along its whole length, so it lies along the wrist instead of sitting on top of it.
The case is 316 stainless steel under a hard-wearing white PVD coating, glossy from end to end. There is no bezel, no screw and no lug to break it up: the white rubber strap runs straight into the top and bottom, and the fluted crown is white too.
Against all that white, the only colour is the dial, a bright turquoise under a domed crystal that follows the curve of the case.

The numerals are large Arabic figures in cream white, each edged with a thin black line, from 12 at the top round to 11 in their usual order. They fill the dial to its edges and tilt to follow the curve of the case. The 4 is drawn in straight, crossed lines, and the 6 sits under a round date window.
The hands are white: slim leaf-shaped hour and minute hands that taper to a point, and a thin seconds hand.
