It is 316 stainless steel under a hard-wearing PVD coating, one bright lemon yellow from the pointed horns at each end to the black fluted crown at three, smooth with a soft sheen.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe dial is black, engraved edge to edge in fine circles, with large shadow numerals worked into it in the same black that only show when the light moves across them. Over that sit the hours in big serif numerals: red, yellow, pink, lime, salmon, green, cream, orange, white, purple and sky blue. They are numbered out of order, an 8 at the top, a 1 at one o'clock, a 6 at two and so on round the dial, and the ones down the narrow sides turn to follow the curve of the case.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eInside is an \u003cstrong\u003eautomatic jumping-hour movement\u003c\/strong\u003e: the hour hand jumps to each numeral in turn, so the numeral it points at is the hour.
